Three Law Students Receive the 2016 Law Society/Law Foundation of Prince Edward Island Student ScholarshipsSeptember 9, 2016In partnership with and the support of the Law Foundation of Prince Edward Island, the Law Society of Prince Edward Island has established three annual scholarships in the amount of $2,000.00 each which are awarded to three full time law students at an accredited University Law School who have demonstrated financial need and scholastic achievement in the previous year of study. This year the committee selected the following three deserving applicants: Melanie McKenna, Taylor Smiley and Morgan Watts. Melanie has just entered the second year of the Juris Doctor program at Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University; Taylor has just entered the first year of the Juris Doctor program at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University; and, Morgan has just entered the third year of the Juris Doctor program at the University of New Brunswick.
