Family Law Lunch & Learn CLE

The Family Law Section of the Department of Justice & Public Safety is offering three new child-focused programs for separated and divorced families.  Michael Zimmerman, Acting Manager of the Family Law Section, will discuss the Supervised Access and Exchange Program and the Office of the Children’s Lawyer.  Jenny Mason, Solicitor in the Family Law Section, will discuss the Parenting Coordination Program
This CLE will focus on how family law lawyers can access these programs for their clients and how each program will impact service delivery for family law clients.  Attendees will receive brochures about the Supervised Access and Exchange Program, as well as templates of Court Applications and Orders to be used for this program.

Also, interested attendees will learn how they can become a Parenting Coordinator and incorporate this role into their professional legal practice.  Lastly, upcoming training opportunities relating to Parenting Coordination will be discussed..

This CLE provides 1.25 hours of mandatory CPD credits.
Registration Fee is $35 + HST = $40.25 Payment is due at time of registration.
Cancellation Policy:   The CLE registration fee is fully refundable for cancellations received thirty (30) days or more before the CLE. Registrants who cancel less than thirty (30) days but more than fourteen (14) days before the CLE will be entitled to receive a refund of the registration fee, less a $50 administration fee. Registrants who cancel within two weeks but more than twenty-four (24) hours before the CLE will receive a fifty per cent (50%) refund and will be entitled to receive a copy of any CLE materials. Registrants who cancel within 24 hours of the CLE or who do not show will not be refunded any portion of the registration fee but the registrant will be entitled to receive a copy of any CLE materials.
