Using and Challenging Experts Prior to Trial

Glenn R. Anderson, Q.C., B.Comm.(Hons.), LL.B., LL.M.(Dalhousie), will provide a two part presentation on Using and Challenging Experts Prior to Trial. Mr. Anderson will address issues related to both one’s own expert as well as opposing expert. The presentation will include a discussion of discovery examination of experts.
Glenn R. Anderson, Q.C. was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1986 and the Ontario Bar in 1991. He practices law in Halifax and teaches Science and the Law, at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs and has written extensively on expert opinion evidence. His publications include Expert Evidence, now in its third edition (LexisNexis Canada, 2014).
This CLE provides 1.5 hours of mandatory CPD credits.

Cancellation Policy: The CLE registration fee is fully refundable for cancellations received thirty (30) days or more before the CLE. Registrants who cancel less than thirty (30) days but more than fourteen (14) days before the CLE will be entitled to receive a refund of the registration fee, less a $50 administration fee. Registrants who cancel within two weeks but more than twenty-four (24) hours before the CLE will receive a fifty per cent (50%) refund and will be entitled to receive a copy of any CLE materials. Registrants who cancel within 24 hours of the CLE or who do not show will not be refunded any portion of the registration fee but the registrant will be entitled to receive a copy of any CLE materials.
