- Unconscious Bias with Evelyn Bradley, Diversity & Inclusion Consultant. This 90-minute session is part one of a two-part series, coordinated by the Law Society’s new Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee. The session will consist of an interactive discussion where participants are free to ask questions. Participants will be challenged to work through real-life EDI scenarios that will allow inclusive concepts and tools to be practiced in context.
- Artificial Intelligence with Dr. Amy Salyzyn, University of Ottawa. Dr. Amy Salyzyn, Associate Professor Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, will virtually present a one-hour presentation on basic principles of artificial intelligence in the practice of law. This session will set out to provide baseline knowledge of A.I. in order to start the conversation on this ever-evolving topic.
- Insurance Overview with Dave Jackson, C.L.I.A., Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association. Dave Jackson will be presenting a one-hour in-person session on insurance fees - why they are what they are, excess coverage and retirement coverage, and risk management.
12:30 PM - Canadian Bar Association, PEI Branch Annual General Meeting and Luncheon.
Everyone is welcome to a complimentary buffet luncheon hosted by the CBA, PEI Branch.
1:30PM - Free time
- Golf - Tee times are reserved for the Law Society - Friday, June 21, 12:00noon – 1:30PM on the Brudenell course. Green Fee $110 per person, Power Cart rental $25 per person. Please call PEI’s Finest Golf Reservation Centre (1-800-235-8909) to book the tee times. Cullen Mullally will be coordinating golf contesting and groups if needed. - Lawn Games - Relax and enjoy some activity playing crocket, lawn bowling, ring toss, cornhole etc.

6:30PM - Presidents' Reception & Dinner
Featuring presentation of the Law Society of PEI Distinguished Member Service Award.
Children's Program will run from 6:00PM - 10:00PM and will include arts & crafts, scavenger hunt and outdoor activities, movie, with dinner included.
